I haven't done this type of post in a while. Mostly because I've been uber busy and traveling. When I traveled to NYC and Atlanta I picked up a couple of great pieces. As well as the great finds I ordered online. Here are my favorites picks from the things I found.  While it might look like I spent a fortuneI didn't, I promise. The  beaded jacket in the first pic was the best steal. It weighs 4 pounds, is in prefect condition, and it cost $10!!!! Yes, $10!!!! Awesome right!!! Check out the rest of the photos!

This jersey reminds me of why I wanted to be good friends with someone whom was a jock girl or boy. It's because I always wanted their varsity jackets or jersey. I always thought high school and collegiate jacket were awesome. And for the last two season and this season lettermans jackets and varsity type gear have been a hot trend that celebs from Pharrell to Kanye and Jay-Z have been sporting. As we all know I can't not afford a $300 nor $1000 letterman jacket from Givenchy or Y-3 so my $1 thrift store find is what its going to be. I actually didn't know how to wear it at first. But when I put it on I figured the simpler the better. And the outfit came out really cool. In my opinion of course.

Hey everyone its been a little while since I've posted. Over the last week I have been sick with a sinus infections and swollen glands. Which has resulted in me sleeping non-stop and only waking to have soup, juice, and watch a little bit of X-men the cartoon. The 90's version not the new school version. Plus it has been raining in New Orleans non-stop.  Today had been the first day I've felt better and I decide to finally post the pics I took last week running errands.  I know that the blog is a little one note with me posting pics of mainly myself, but I'm going to make an effort to start posting other things. More things on music and what I think it is cool. And when I finally get my camera I can take pics of the cool places that I've been discovering in New Orleans. Well I'm gonna to get ready to enjoy a night out.

All American Girl

Hey everyone, its been a while. I finally got the internet fix and back on today. AT&T you still suck but thank you for doing your job ( that I pay you for). Anyway, the day this pictures was taken I let my mom pick out my outfit. It is a little too girly for me, and my only input was the denim vest.  Yet, it doesn't look half bad. I'm starting to get into wearing heels or wedges more often, and I must admit that it does adds a certain ump to your outfit. 

Well since I have the internet back I should be posting more. And with one of my best friends is coming into town this weekend I should have tons of pictures.  

Now I'm off to finish my French homework and studying for my test tomorrow.

Orange Sorbet and Dots

Yesterday I had the chance to hit up the Salvation Army half price sale that happens every Wednesday and Saturday. I found a couple of things but the big score of the day was a DFV vintage orange and hot pink silk blouse I could not even enjoy because it was a size small.  I still brought it because I plan on selling it to a local buy-trade store.  What I did find and could enjoy was an awesome navy blue members only jacket in prefect condition, a pair of polk-dot shorts, and two gold mugs that are pretty kick ass.

Other good news my internet should be on tomorrow,YEAH!!!!!!!!  But AT&T still sucks. Well I'm off to do some work.

Tour de Room

My Room

Hey everyone, still don't have internet and its a little irritating. Dealing with ATT has made me very very fu*king upset. Excuse my french. I spent over 400 minutes on the phone and took off of work waiting for my internet to be turned on yesterday and I still don't have it.  Okay let me stop talking about this before I get even more upset than I'm already am. Anyway.......

Every time my friends visit my house and room for the first time they always talked and tell others about how awesome they think my room is, which leads other people wanting to see my room. So since I can't do a walking to tour of my room for everyone I decide to post some pics of my room here. I took these pics about a month ago, and since then my room had changed around a little. Well, I'm about to relax because I'm beat.

Bike Uniform

Hey everyone, Its been a little while. As I mention last post, I started biking 6 miles to and from school (work-study) and back home. So me biking in dresses and nice clothes in 94 degree heat is not going to happen. Case in point no posts lately. But who say that you have to look a hot mess while riding your bike, Right??  


So I developed a uniform.  Shorts and tanks have  been what my basic uniform consist of. Usually throwing the tanks from the man section of urban that we just got in and that I love!!!. For one their cheaper than the women's and two they all have really cool prints and colors. Shorts are a new brainer and I switch between my toms and pumas. 


Anyway, Do you notice something slightly different?  Yep, I did it. I cut my hair and colored it. love the color but hate the cut. She cut off all my hair. I said trim it down and taper it. She give me a mo-hawk. VERY upset won't be going back there again. Well gotta get back to work.

Button It & Tie It

For the last few days I have been biking 6 miles to my job at school, then catching the bus to my other job at urban, and then biking home from there. So my outfit choices have been about heat proof comfort. Mostly tanks and shorts.  Why am I biking in 80 plus degree weather? One, because it faster to get where I need to go and two any way I can get exercise in is great for me because I'm going to NYC for a week this summer. So for the next month and few weeks I'm going to be workout out like a crazy woman. Which mean, I can actually wear some things I haven't worn in a long time LOL. Which is great for me and hopefully you guys too.

Jazz-Fest Pt.3

This past Saturday I had chance to see Mrs. Lauryn Hill in concert.  Of course I had to work ( sucks I know).  So I got up at 7:00 am to be at work for 8:00 am to get off at 4:00 pm. I barley making it on time for the 5:30 pm performance because I (my silly self) left my wallet at work. Yet, I made it there and enjoyed an awesome performance. I wish she would have done some songs from her unplugged album but she played a few from her Fugees days and a little Bob Marley too. All and all a very eventful day and weekend courtesy of New Orleans Heritage Jazz Festival.
