I stumble upon this designer a few months ago because I loved that she used and represented black beauty in fashion. Not to say other races aren't beautiful, but when most of the fashion show are 90% to a 100% white its hard to see one-self in fashion. And that is especially turn in Couture. So to see this all black cast fashion show, no less couture is a great faith. Hopefully we will see more diversity in fashion shows.

June Ambrose is a incredible stylist. Not just in the urban world of Hip-Hop and R&B, she has styled Kelly Ripa and many others.  June Ambrose has always been amazing stylist to me and I fall in love with her when I discovered that she styled the Missy Elliott " Can't Stand the Rain" video. Which so happens to be one of my favorite videos of all time. In her newest interview with The NY Times Lola Ogunnaike she talks about her new venture with X-Factor, her upcoming show on VH1, and what it means to get your swagger up.

“Darling, it’s all about the angles,” she explained as she turned her cheek to the light, extending her arm just so, before snapping a picture of herself with her ever-presentiPhone. She tinkered with the photo and then released it into the Twittersphere (or “Juniverse,” as she calls her online world).

Months Top Purchases: Last few weeks

I haven't done this type of post in a while. Mostly because I've been uber busy and traveling. When I traveled to NYC and Atlanta I picked up a couple of great pieces. As well as the great finds I ordered online. Here are my favorites picks from the things I found.  While it might look like I spent a fortuneI didn't, I promise. The  beaded jacket in the first pic was the best steal. It weighs 4 pounds, is in prefect condition, and it cost $10!!!! Yes, $10!!!! Awesome right!!! Check out the rest of the photos!

How much would I love for my future home to look like this?!?! Tons!!!!! The playful and electric combination of things that you wouldn't normally consider art with the mix of vintage and modern pieces makes every space unique and quite homey. These rooms done by Julia Edelmann, of Buckingham Interiors + Designs, showcases her eclectic taste and passion for antiques and artifacts in her Chicago showroom. Julia I might can't afford you, haha, but I will be taking ques from you.

Everyone since I brought this Mint by Goorin Nubby hat at Urban I've been wearing it non-stop. The ombre tunic I stole or lets say borrow from my mom closet. Since it's still sunny and barley reaching anything below 80 degrees I can't do much but dress an summer attire. Which is great for some, but not so much for me. I want to wear my DAMN sweaters.  It is fall and I believe I am entitled to it HAHA.

I've been dreaming of getting a pair of Jeffery Campbell Tardy boots for a while now. So, I couldn't pass them up when I received a pretty good discount.  I chose this color rather than others because its orange which is my favorite color. And its a show piece that not safe, a little funky, and a little wild without being hard to wear. Well at least for me haha. As for the Snake skin loafers with the studs, that was a WTF moment and a instant must have.  Two new addition to the family that I can not wait to rock.

For a while now these beautiful Ge Wa Wa "Flora" shoes have been sitting on my shelf begging me to put them on. And honestly I had no good reason not to wear them. So I finally give into the calling and was not disappoint. Everywhere I went on Friday ladies stop to ask me where I got my shoes from or that they love my shoes.
