Hey everyone, I've been a little incognito. Just been totally busy. I took these quick photos with my Iphone before I went on my weekend errands run. Which didn't include the thrift store (I'm quite sadden by that). The holidays are coming up, which means that people will be shopping like crazy at Urban in turn I will be working crazy, school finals, and having fun with friends. I don't know how I'm going to balance it all especially since I just got another part-time job as a hostess (Yeah, money time!!!).

I haven't done this type of post in a while. Mostly because I've been uber busy and traveling. When I traveled to NYC and Atlanta I picked up a couple of great pieces. As well as the great finds I ordered online. Here are my favorites picks from the things I found.  While it might look like I spent a fortuneI didn't, I promise. The  beaded jacket in the first pic was the best steal. It weighs 4 pounds, is in prefect condition, and it cost $10!!!! Yes, $10!!!! Awesome right!!! Check out the rest of the photos! 

Working Girl

This weekend I was a working girl lol. Being in retail you have to always strike a balance of wearing with is cute, fashionable, work appropriate , but still comfortable.  Plus, I had to walk to work this weekend due to a marathon that took over the downtown streets of New Orleans.  So I throw on my trusty jeans, and loafers and this awesome shirt I brought at Anthro the previous week. It  baggy, airy, and a little heavy all at the same time, weird, I know. The Dooney bag I brought for $7 has been my go to bag since I brought it a week ago.

So folks, I got some really good news. Which is, this week I start my new job working at Urban Outfitters in New Orleans. This is going to be awesome because  get to meet a lot of  cool people and maybe take pics of their kick-ass outfits. Plus being the first to see some of Urbans new clothing doesn't hurt either.

Sunny Delight

Hey everyone, hope everyones weekend was good. Again this weekend in New Orleans was beautiful. But I couldn't enjoy it or ever get a cup of Thai tea ( yes I'm obsess) because I had to work. Which I don't mind but who want to be inside when you could be out enjoying the sun.  Anyway, I semi-stole the tropical orange shirt from my mom. Semi because I have to give it back. I just loved the color so much it had me wishing I could be on a tropical island somewhere.  As for the bright orange lipstick, I had it since last year and never bother to open it. With a little push from my friend Lesly, who urge me to try color I finally give it a try. And to tell you the truth I  liked it.

Well, I'm off to start writing my paper for my Latin America history class. I will be posting my kick-ass purchases from last week soon. It involves shoes.

Just Simple

Those pictures where taken last Sunday on a bright and sunny day. Total opposite of today, where I'm just waiting for it to start pouring down raining.  This week has been all over the place for me and some of my friends. One minute its going great, then all of a sudden boom ......shit just starts to feel like its falling apart. Hopefully a little thrift store shopping, Thai ice tea sipping, and bike riding after I replace the seat that some bums stole, I will feel much better.  Just like last Sunday I kept my outfit simple, I'm hoping to work at making my life a little bit simple too.
