Hey everyone, I've been a little incognito. Just been totally busy. I took these quick photos with my Iphone before I went on my weekend errands run. Which didn't include the thrift store (I'm quite sadden by that). The holidays are coming up, which means that people will be shopping like crazy at Urban in turn I will be working crazy, school finals, and having fun with friends. I don't know how I'm going to balance it all especially since I just got another part-time job as a hostess (Yeah, money time!!!).

Garage Sale Quick Shots

Hey everyone this pass weekend has been a rush of laughter, fun, non-sleep, attending art shows throwing a garage sale and turning a year older.  Sorry I don't have a bunch of shots, I just was to busy drinking , laughing, and eating cupcake to pick up my brand new Nikon SLR 3100. Oh yeah, I finally got it!!  Anyway, the garage sale was a success, even if many people didn't show. Their loss, a few lucky ladies gain HAHA.  As a result of its success with little people, I think I might open up a online store on the blog. Sell some of the great piece I can no longer keep. Just a thought. Well off to do some work.

Days Lost

Unused Photos

Its been a while since I've updated my blog.  Mostly because Theo needed to be fix ( Theo is my Mac) lol. And not having the options of connecting to the interweb has done me good.  Plus, its been too hot to actually give a hell about what you wear in New Orleans so I didn't feel like taking pictures or doing anything else but trying to stay cool. Sad, I know.

Anyway, back to the good of lacking a computer did me.  Without my computer I started going through my things to find what I wanted to sell for my garage sell. And while I was cleaning and separating my wants from my sell, I found my old journal. You every rediscover something that instantly made you smile?  My journal is it.  Looking through it, seeing the words and the drawing that I was doing a few years ago made me wonder if growing up means that sometimes we not only gain certain knowledge but we lose it too. Seeing the poems that I wrote about love, insecurity, hurt, pain, about my life made me remember that not too long ago I was not the confident girl that I'am today. Looking at the notes and pictures of things I would like to do, know, or go made me remember that I have not achieved all my goals yet, and made me happy for the new ones I set for myself.  It made me notice that I sometimes get so caught up in the world of the internet: facebook, twitter, tumblr, ichat, and everything else that I forget what it feels like to just sit and be.  In the days without my computer I rediscover music I love, my love for writing, my love for reading about ancient Eastern religion, cutting out pics in old magazines,  I discover my love for just being.

Hey everyone. I've been on a little hiatus mostly because it just to damn hot to do anything and care about what I wear. Sometimes I felt like not wearing anything. But that wouldn't be polite HAHA.  Anyway these are a few things that I pick up last month and I love every one of these items. The Chloe glasses I've been wearing non-stop they are so huge and cool. Every time I have them on people do a double. Or maybe thats just in my mind.  The coach bag I found on Ebay for  a steal, as well as the jacket. The DV by Dolce Vita boots are killer and quite comfortable. I will be rocking these piece a lot over the fall and winter season. Especially the boots and the jacket.  Well I'm off to work now which it seems thats all I do. I work 30 + hours this week and next week too.
On another note this Saturday during White Linen Night I'll be attending an art show that a friend part together for the event, so look out for that post. Also I'll be taking a break from my busy schedule to chill with my BF Lesly  when she comes into town.

Running Back in Time

This jersey reminds me of why I wanted to be good friends with someone whom was a jock girl or boy. It's because I always wanted their varsity jackets or jersey. I always thought high school and collegiate jacket were awesome. And for the last two season and this season lettermans jackets and varsity type gear have been a hot trend that celebs from Pharrell to Kanye and Jay-Z have been sporting. As we all know I can't not afford a $300 nor $1000 letterman jacket from Givenchy or Y-3 so my $1 thrift store find is what its going to be. I actually didn't know how to wear it at first. But when I put it on I figured the simpler the better. And the outfit came out really cool. In my opinion of course.

For days now it has been raining non-stop. It will rain for 2 hours and stop for an hour. I can't even remember what a sunny day looks like. Wearing my Adidas SLVR shoes have been the closes thing to an outdoor sunny day activity that I could do. It is suppose to rain the rest of these week. Hopefully next week is different because I have a couple of cool piece that I want to show to you and this rain is cramping my style. 

Well at least I have no reason not to stay home and do homework.
