Time Traveling Fashion

60's " Woodstock Chic"

70's " Grease Lighting"

80's " Power Suit Anyone?"

90s " Hip-Hop and Hot Shorts"

A couple of weeks ago me and my friend Alex decided to stage a photo shoot for some of the clothes we wanted to sell on ebay. It seems the only clothes that sell now are when people wear them. Recently I went back to look at some of the pics and I notice that some of my fav's had a timeline. Take a little trip through fashion memory-line with me.

Fierce....CRYSTAL RENN

Crystal Renn Crystal Renn walks the red carpet at the GUESS Flagship Boutique opening hosted by Marie Claire and GUESS at GUESS Flagship Boutique on July 22, 2009 in New York City.

Crystal Renn is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen, without a doubt. If I had a choice of switching bodies with one person it would be her. Lately, there has been a lot of talk in the fashion industry about size and what is a good size standard for the industry. To me it's just another passing phase, just as they were a lot talks about the lack of race diversity. Anyone hear anything about Vogue Africa being publish yet or Vogue Italia increasing their use of black models lately? Even Karl Lagerfeld has jump on board of team Renn and the plus-size model nation. Yet, to tell you the truth Karl would jump onto anything that seems popular or would be popular at the moment. The same person whom said racism doesn't exist in fashion, and that fat people need to stop eating chips on the couch. A fat person once himself; used Ms.Renn in his 2011 Resort Collection this week.

I don't know if the industry is fully ready to embrace both average size woman with curves or blacks and latinos. What I do know is that Crystal represents what I want to be: womanly, spunky, and full of sex appeal that shows you don't need to be a hanger to look great in clothing.
