Shoes and Dresses: Anthropologie ( SALE)


Hey everyone, I hope everything been good. I've been mucho busy with school and work. Finals are coming up and I'm bugging beyond belief.  Even with all that going on, I still found a chance to shop a little.  Anthro had some really cool things on sale last week. The two dress I brought, I've been eyeing for a long time. The strip and printed one was feature in Lucky magazine was the only one left in the store and in my size. Awesome right!!!!! The shoes I  brought at a great deal.  Can't wait to rock it all. Well, I'm about to start writing my 15 page paper for military history..... Yeah craziness, I know.

Well as I promise, and since my mom off from work this week I could get back to taking pics of my outfits. Today is Lundi Gras, or the day before Fat Tuesday. And in New Orleans this is the best day to party, because on Fat Tuesday shit shut down at 12:00pm for Ash Wednesday. It was a little chilly today so I throw on my sweater and doc's. 

Well I'm off to bake a King Cake and have a beer with friends.

V-day a source of happiness for some and dread for others. Me, I'm the latter.  Here are a few outfits for the day. I try to pull together outfits for a romantic night out with your lover, a fun night out with friends, or a outfit that you can wear if you going on a first date to.  They all consist of a little bit of sugar, a little spice, and everything nice. Some are hot and some are as sweet as pie. You decide what you like to be on the day of Love.  And what will I be doing on V-day? Spending it with my family, who will celebrate the life of my grandmother who passed 6 years ago on V-day. Hope you have a great weekend. Florals & Stripes

Everything Head to toe is from the thrift store or 2nd hand. Except the Beanie Forever21 ( I cut off the pom-pom)

Shirt, Vest, Shoes from Thrift store, jeans (walmart), Necklace from vintage store ( Funky Monkey), watch from ebay.

For a while now I notice that I have been wearing a lot of stripes and florals. I tend to go through these two types of prints because I can just throw a jacket and some jeans to create a complete look. And because of this I own about 7 different types of floral prints. And over 10 stripe shirts(I know, I have a problem). So what is your favorite causal piece of clothing?
