Stripping for Spring

Its been awhile right? Sorry for that. So last Saturday was the first official day of parades for Mardi Gras season.  It was a great sunny weekend and I decided to go hangout with some friends uptown. Wanting to be comfortable I throw on My skinnies, chuck and two new items that I just received in the mail from my Urbanoutfitters purchase. The awesome leather Tano bag and my new favorite stripe shirt courtesy of BDG ( might not see it but the black stripes are sequins).  Grab my Ray-bans and was out the door. Having such a large bag was good idea and having sneakers on was even a better choice because the bus and streetcars where crowded to the max and I went crazy at the Borders Closing sell ( magazines 40% off).  As a result of my drinking and being on the bus with all those people I'm sitting in bed with a running nose, I know it sucks. But at least I had a god time hanging with my old co-workers and friends Ryan, Hilly, and Brittany.

I hope everyones Valentin Day was good. I was with family and that always equal laughs.  I had on the red jacket all day, decide to get into the commercial holiday spirit a little.  When I come home from work I throw on my trusty skinnies and a blouse I recently refound. And head to dinner with the fam.  Food, family, laughs, and sweets what better V-day you could ask for when your single ? lol!!

V-day a source of happiness for some and dread for others. Me, I'm the latter.  Here are a few outfits for the day. I try to pull together outfits for a romantic night out with your lover, a fun night out with friends, or a outfit that you can wear if you going on a first date to.  They all consist of a little bit of sugar, a little spice, and everything nice. Some are hot and some are as sweet as pie. You decide what you like to be on the day of Love.  And what will I be doing on V-day? Spending it with my family, who will celebrate the life of my grandmother who passed 6 years ago on V-day. Hope you have a great weekend. How was everyone Super Bowl weekend?  Well my weekend was pretty good. Did  a little thrift shopping and hanging out withe the family. As for Super Bowl night me and my family spent it at the movies. I went to go see the Green Hornet. I've been a fan of the cartoon since I was young ( and most other cartoons as well, YuGi anyone?). Lets say it wasn't what I would expect the film to be but it  was good enough. One thing I did love about the movie is that it help me find my new boyfriend, since my obsession with the Korean popstar Rain who played in Ninja Assassin has died down a little. Jay Chou  who  is also a  popstar and Taiwan has stolen my heart (LOL). Well I'm back to another week of school  and figuring out with Im going to go for Valentine Day ( yeah I know).  Pink is not my color but I ready to pull at the red for V-day.

Tribal Winter

Hey, hope everyone is doing fine in this awful weather.  Its been so cold and nasty outside I barely want to wake up and go to school. As for dressing up it has not been happening. I quickly throw on my sweater, sweats, sneakers, beanie and head out the door to brace the cold at the bus stop.  Anyway, today I decide to give my outfit a little effort ( since I had a ride to school) and play with some print. It was easy enough and no hassel for when I need to try on clothes at the thrift store ( before school. of course).   

Well, I hope everyone is staying warm, I'm off to bury myself under some homework :-\.
